Launchpad 43oh SDCard BoosterPack

A few weeks back we were able to talk to an SDcard using the famous PetiteFaTFS as the file system on an MSP430G2553 using the USCI module. The code as it is right now supports format, open and read. Write support will not be too hard. Commands have to be created for the parser.

The above image shows the SDCard on the new 43oh SDCard Booster pack. The good thing about the card is that you can use it on other micro-controllers too using the breakout header.  This will be available in The 43oh Store next week when the SDCard sockets come in. We’ll try to keep costs as low as possible too. The board features a card detect LED too.

  2. Let us know when we can write! I am really looking forward to this. The MSP430 is a challenge though…gone are the easy days of Arduino!
