The much awaited CC3200 Wi-Fi SensorTag has shown up at Digikey. Many thanks to Jan for letting us know. For those unaware, the Bluetooth version of the SensorTag is very popular in IoT projects.

In January of this year, TI released a video showing the CC3200 Simplelink SensorTag at CES 2016. As of today at 8:00AM EST, the Wi-Fi SensorTag is ready to ship and costs $40.11, tagged under part number CC3200STK-WIFIMK. The technical documents in the datasheet section points to the CC3200 chip, Launchpad and the MOD version of the chip and none pointing to the SensorTag version.

TI also sells the CC3200 Launchpad, if you are interested in the development kit version of the chip.

Note that there are only 2 units that can ship immediately with 10,001 in stock. This Wi-Fi SensorTag is not available on the Ti-Store yet.
