43oh is pleased to team up with Emocco in bringing you this contest. A couple months back Emocco approached us to have a giveaway for their EDB-BLE kit.  The kit enables you to quickly create mobile applications to control devices via Bluetooth with the added benefit of low energy. Their tools allow you to interface to an iOS or Android device without knowing much about the OS or Bluetooth. Check out the video below.

You also get access to Emocco’s infrastructure such as Em-Builder, Em-Framework, Em-Browser and Em-Hub. Em-Hub is a web-site that allows embedded developers to collaborate with mobile developers by sharing schemas.

The kit comes with a pre-assembled BoosterPack containing their BLE chip.  It connects to any embedded microcontroller via a simple serial UART interface. The BoosterPack is also compatible with the Stellaris Launchpad.

The EDB-BLE kit retails for $49.99 at Mouser and Digikey.
